The Amy's make-up to visit her husband

Bruised: The singer's knuckles and fingers looked bruised and sore, and her skin pallid and spotty

Amy Winehouse's druggie lifestyle has taken its toll on the singer's looks and clearly its become a struggle for the singer to make herself look presentable for a visit with husband Blake in prison.

The singer pulled some odd faces as she attempted to apply her make-up and get dressed - all while in the back of a car.

Pretty vacant: Amy Winehouse pulled some strange faces as she tried to smarten herself up and get dressed for a visit to see husband Blake in prison - in the back of her car

Her blackened grimey fingernails, spotty, pallid skin, and matted hair, revealed the Rehab star is clearly fighting a losing battle with drug addiction which is ruining her once attractive looks.

Chaotic Amy visited husband Blake in jail yesterday, but she looked far from her best, and appears to be constantly pushed for time, hence her use of the car as a mobile changing room.

But the talented singer appears to have plenty of people keen to offer her support - including singer turned photographer Bryan Adams.

Amy has been invited to spend a "rock family" Christmas at the singer's Caribbean villa.

Bryan, 48, wants to get the star away from her drink and drugs problems and has offered to fly her to his home on the private island of Mustique.

He has offered to spend Christmas Day with the star - and there is even a rumour that rock legend Mick Jagger, who also has a house on the island, could pop over.

A pal of Amy's said: "Amy has been invited to Mustique to stay with Bryan Adams. He is keen to help her."

Earlier this week the troubled star was seen passed out in a car following her arrest over an alleged £200,000 plot to fix her husband's assault trial.

Amy was seen slumped in the back of a people carrier as she was taken home by a friend after being questioned by police.

Before her arrest the "screaming and sobbing" pop star had become so distressed, psychiatrists were called before her 'arrest by appointment'.

Psychiatrists and lawyers arrived at her home in Bow to calm down the hysterical singer before she faced the police.

Lipstick: Amy applies her lipstick, but the make-up can't hide the toll the drugs have taken on her once attractive looks

She was questioned for two-and-a quarter hours before being released on bail and escorted home by her mother Janis and father Mitch.
